BAFE Fire Extinguisher Exam – Identification of Candidates
From the 1st April 2024, all candidates (learners) taking the fire extinguisher exam (theory or practical) including resits will have to show accepted photo ID to the BAFE invigilator as part of the signing in process. This will confirm the identity of the candidate and the invigilator will mark the registration sheet to confirm they have seen it. No copies or photographs of the photo ID provided will be taken.
Accepted forms of photo ID for the BAFE Fire Extinguisher Exam:

Passport issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory, an EEA state or a Commonwealth country (including an Irish Passport Card)
or
-
Driving licence issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or an EEA state (this includes a provisional driving licence).
